The Computing and Information Science (CIS) division is a well-equipped computer laboratory with state-of-the-art technologies for data management. The important activities of CIS include offering scientific support to various research projects/studies in the area of data processing and software development.

Computer systems

Servers and related peripherals were installed to cater for the needs of data management activities such as data collection, storage and analysis. We have moved from paper-based data collections to an electronic data capture method. Periodical backups are made mandatory to ensure zero data loss.

Intranet/internet

Internet facilities are being offered to all the staff of this institute. In addition to that wireless network connection is also provided to the main building, the hostel and the guest house
