Department of Health and Family Welfare Government of  Tamil Nadu, facilitates  provision of access to state health department and allied health departments for training of MPH Scholars and undertake various research activites by NIE. It has issued a Government  Order stating that it permits NIE not only undertake research but also for training purpose in the following districts Thiruvallur, Kanchipuram, Tiruvannnamalai,  Villupuram and Vellore.


University of Madras, Chennai:Affiliating university to which NIE is affiliated for its Ph.D. (Biostatistics) programme.

Sri Ramachandra University, Chennai: Agreement for exchange of Faculty for environmental Health Course /Modules and skills/expertise to undertake Environmental and Epidemiology research.
Collaborator in IBBA Study, Study on assessing impact of HIV interventions in Tamil Nadu
Apollo Hospitals, Chennai:To carry out Research Methodology workshop at Apollo Hospital and facilitate Ethics Committee in the Hospital.
